CABBI 40th Exhibition – January 2025

CABBI has held an annual exhibition at Batemans Bay for the last 40 years. It has become a significant event on the NSW South Coast art and craft calendar. The exhibition was open to the public in early January 2025 to view and purchase quality art and craft items for home or business.
Because the exhibition is judged, it ensures a professional presentation of CABBI members’ very best art and craft works of the year. At the 2025 exhibition, ten categories of art on 100 panels, and handmade crafts on plinths, were displayed under quality gallery lighting.
CABBI was also proud to include an 11th category of “9×5” entry which was not judged but the sales revenue was donated to a local youth charity. This display commemorates the 1889 “9×5” exhibition involving Australian Impressionist artists such as Streeton, Conder and Roberts of the Heidelberg school, Melbourne. They painted on cigar box lids of this dimension.
The 2025 CABBI Exhibition, held within the Batemans Bay High School auditorium, was open from Saturday 4th to Monday 20th January.
